Rikka Inn is right at the top of Khao San Road, which means you'll be right in the heart of the action. This hotel is immaculate with rooms starting at a thousand baht a night for a standard room. The basic room is a tad on the small side, but you're only going to be sleeping there, and with en-suite bathrooms, you won't need to commute to a shared bathroom for showers or a late night pee after one too many cocktails in the many local bars and restaurants.
There is a fantastic rooftop swimming pool to while away an afternoon after a morning of sightseeing in the nearby Rattanakosin. The English speaking staff are friendly and are always ready to help out.
The only irritation to this hotel is the idiots that tend to make lots of noise in the early hours of the morning after getting pissed but, considering the location, this is unavoidable. Doors get slammed, and voices raised, which makes one want to go out and tell them to put a sock in it! But, if your only planning a couple of night partying in Khao San Road the you'll probably sleep through the mild ruckus.
Apart from that, this is one of the best hotels Banglamphu has to offer and is reasonably priced.
