Octave Rooftop Bar

This rooftop bar is not as well-known as The Sky Bar but is much less busy and usually a table can be found to watch the sunset while enjoying an evening meal.

The Sky Bar

The Sky Bar (featured in the Hangover 2 movie) is one of the highest rooftop bars in the world at 820ft. You can watch the sunset or see great views of the city after dark.

Can you suggest a night out in Bangkok?

Let's Party

Gone are the days when all there was available in Bangkok was a rickety old table by the side of the road serving the local beer, although this is still an appealing way of spending an evening - taking in all of the sights and sounds of Bangkok at night.

Today (and tonight) there are thousands of trendy bars, clubs and pubs to choose from that cater to all kinds of budgets and tastes. Perhaps you enjoy smoking cigars or sampling exotic cocktails or distilled spirits? Or you love to rave it up at some of the city's biggest clubs?

Since the 2011 movie, The Hangover 2, rooftop bars in Bangkok have become a popular choice, but which one is best? There are an incredible amount of swanky bars in Bangkok but many just don't mount up to what we are asked to pay for a single drink at the bar.

However, from House clubs to Rock Pubs; whatever you're poison, Bangkok has it all.

What can you tell me about the Rock Pub?

This cool little venue is easy to get to and has regular bands playing throughout the week.

Kiwi Sports Bar

The Kiwi Sports Bar on Soi 8 is a pleasant little boozer offering a very decent pint of Heineken, plus Guinness and other Asian favourites.
